Cangzhou Hongsheng Casting Co., Ltd.
Do not order. An 18% discount is not worth this risk
The discount has a reason. Two 3-tonne cupolas that should have been retired by 2020 are still running. The discharge permit lapsed years ago; what they produced was a 2018 registration form. There are serious safety hazards on the floor, plus judgment-debt records and a tax arrears notice. This kind of plant sits first on the emergency shutdown list when air quality spikes, and a shutdown lasts months. An 18% saving does not cover one interruption.
Where this factory stands
4 findings, ranked by what they cost you
Two 3-tonne cupolas still operating — obsolete capacity that should have been eliminated by 2020. No discharge permit posted; the office produced a 2018 registration form long since expired. Roughly 400 tonnes of waste sand sits uncovered on the north yard with no seepage protection.
No emergency pour pit in front of the induction furnace, standing water in the operating area, crane hooks without safety latches, three moulders without respirators, and visible dust in the sand-handling area.
Finance staff volunteered that salaries were three months late last year. Public records show two 2025 judgment-debt entries totalling ¥870,000 and a tax arrears notice. The owner's separate trading company is flagged as operating abnormally.
No ISO 9001 certificate. Chemical composition is recorded by hand, there is no spectrometer on site, and samples go to a third party with a three to five day turnaround. Ductile iron treatment relies on an experienced hand reading the flame — no temperature log, no nodularity test.

Three levels, interviewed separately
Cross-checking what the owner says against what the floor says is where most of our findings come from.
“Don't worry about environmental issues. We've always done it this way and nobody comes to check.” Verbatim, translated
Put these in the contract
- Not recommended. If you must, accept only pay-after-inspection, your own tooling, and small trial batches.
- Alternative: three plants within 50 km have converted from cupola to electric. They price 15% higher but delivery is controllable.
